IntroductionDeamido Bleomycin A 2 is the Major Catabolite of the Antitumor Agent Bleomycin. Metabolic inactivation of the antitumor antibiotic bleomycin is be mediated exclusively via the action of bleomycin hydrolase, a cysteine proteinase that is widely distributed in nature.
