IntroductionLidamidine Hydrochloride, also known as WHR-1142A and Lidaral, is an alpha2-adrenergic receptor agonist that inhibits intestinal secretion, reduces intestinal transit, and inhibits smooth muscle contraction. Lidamidine hydrochloride is used to treat diarrhoea and other gastrointestinal disorders.
